Coach or Volunteer

Requirements to coach/volunteer include the following:

All adult volunteers associated with BYSA age 18 and older are required to annually register directly with the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) using the new Adult Registration system which will include a CORI and National Background Check, and State and National Sex Offender Registry Search. Even if you were previously registered and have an up-to-date CORI status, registration into the new system is REQUIRED.

Coaches/volunteers under age 18 must also register with MYSA using the new system but they will not go through the CORI and background checks. They will need to complete the concussion training and the Abuse Prevention training in order to get their coaching credentials.
